The client and the challenge
The client is a US company that buys vacant land for cash. It has one landing page for each state it buys in, 17 states in total, plus a main “sell your land” page. Each page targets the searches a land owner types when they want a quick sale, such as “sell land in [state]”, “cash buyers for [state] land” and “sell [state] land fast”.
The order came through an SEO agency that manages the client’s search marketing.
What we did
The agency rented the Premium package of our Monthly Rental Sticky Homepage PBN Links for the client’s state pages: 68 sticky homepage PBN links. Every result below comes from those 68 links. Every target keyword was added to our rank tracker on day one, so every movement below is measured from the first check, not guessed.
- Homepage placement: each link sits on the homepage of an aged auction domain, the strongest page of any site, and stays there for as long as the rental is renewed.
- Strong, uncrowded domains: our average metrics are 100+ referring domains, Moz DA 20+ and 10 to 25+ years of domain age, with no more than 20 outgoing links per PBN, so the power is not shared thin.
- Handwritten content: every link is placed in content written by our team for the topic.
How the rankings moved
Movement started within days. By 3 October, keywords that sat between #30 and #43 at the first check were already on page 1, three of them in the top 3.
The headline keyword, a “cash buyers for [state] land” search, ranked #42 at the first check on 29 September. It was #1 on 2 October and was still #1 at the last check on 12 October.

The biggest jump came from a “sell land in [state]” keyword: #61 at its first check on 1 October and #1 the next day.

Here is every keyword that reached a higher position than at its first check, with the keywords masked to protect the client.

How we measured this
- Start point: all 68 target keywords were added to our rank tracker when the rental started. Most were first checked on 29 September 2026, and a few were added over the following days. The first check of each keyword is the starting position shown in the tables.
- Daily checks: each keyword was checked on Google US desktop through 12 October 2026.
- What counts as improved: a keyword is listed if it reached a higher position than at its first check. The “Best” column is the highest position each keyword reached during the period.
- What we left out: keywords that were already #1 at the first check had no room to climb, and keywords that did not move up are not shown here.
Why monthly rental PBN links work so well
- Homepage power. The homepage is where a site collects most of its backlinks and passes the most authority. A sticky homepage link gets that power directly instead of sitting in an old post deep in the archive.
- Few outgoing links. With a cap of 20 outgoing links per PBN, each link gets a real share of the domain’s strength.
- Steady, ongoing support. The links stay live month after month while the rental is renewed, which keeps rankings supported instead of relying on one burst of links.
